The World’s Biggest Children’s Afrikan Cultural Festival Of Its Kind

The 1st Annual Children of the Sun Fun Fest much-anticipated kick-off is happening on Saturday August 4, 2018 in the Black Mecca known as Atlanta, Georgia. This is the first event of its kind to bring World Afrikan Culture from throughout the diaspora together for a children’s whimsical kaleidoscope of culture-based fun in an exciting outdoor celebration of Afrika focused on giving our children the most awesome appreciation and love of what it means to be of Afrikan ascent. There will be live Music and Dance Performances by youth from around the world introducing different generational customs, Afrikan Arts and Crafts, Traditions of Afrikan Hair Braiding, Indigenous Games, Amusement Rides, Horseback Riding, Face Painting, Moko Jumbie Stiltwalkers, Yoga, Afrikan Storytelling, Phenomenal Food from around the globe, Unique Vendors and so much more!

CHILDREN’S WATOTO KWANZAA JAMBOREE

Gather all the children you know and bring the whole family to Atlanta’s favorite Kwanzaa event highlighting the excellence of Black children. Liberated Minds presents The 2nd Annual Children’s Watoto Kwanzaa Jamboree taking place on Saturday, December 22, 2018, from 2pm-8pm at The Omega World Event Center 3951 Snapfinger Pkwy Decatur, Georgia 30035. Experience a kaleidoscope of incredible interactive fun from great music, soulful food, face painting, games and vendors to stiltwalkers, STEAM activities, storytellers, Afrikan dance & drumming, arts & crafts and more as we learn about and celebrate the 7 principles of Kwanzaa. This annual family phenomenon will feature a multitude of goodies and surprises that will be sure to create amazing memories of a lifetime!
